About You (what we look for)
-
You understand that the mind is complex and genetics plus life experiences are both foundational to the development of Self
-
You have work/lived/personal experiences of neurodivergence and understand ADHD, Giftedness, ASD1, being twice-exceptional (2e), and complex trauma are all areas of the "neurodivergence spectrum".

You work with all ages (bonus points if you specialize in kids and teens or families!)
-
You are a Registered MSW, Psychotherapist* with at least 5 years experience (may include practicum and related experience)

You use an integrative, engaging, and playful approach, while sharing self-energy and authenticity with your clients.

You thrive independently AND as part of a collaborative team and are eager to contribute to our growing practice with enthusiasm and creativity!

You like to work within a shared space rather than simply showing up for client sessions (and also have a clear picture of when you need your own space to work in!)

You’re experienced or excited to grow in:

Position Details
-
Hours: Flexible, currently seeking someone to cover weekend sessions (min 6-8 weekend hours) and other session times when the Centre is least busy, and those who can see an average of 15+ clients weekly (billable hours)

Workplace: Primarily on-site (in Toronto West -near Dundas West Station), with some virtual sessions as requested from clients (may be at the Centre or from home).

Compensation: Percentage-based (up to 65%, depending on contract specifications). We also may offer leadership opportunities to those interested
We are looking for folks who share a sense of pride in their practice space, and who want to be part of the team, contribute to the practice, and share their knowledge too!
Other Important Requirements:

Your MSW Degree and proof of registration with the OCSWSSW in good standing

Your own liability insurance or eligibility to obtain it

A passion for being a part of building something bigger - being a core member of the AATC Team!

*In some circumstances, and if you are the "Right Fit" we will consider Registered Psychotherapists (CRPO) with extensive related experience, such as; knowledge and understanding of social work theory, training in various modalities as noted above, work experience with kids and teens, and of course, a "kick ass personality"!
This is an independent contractor role.
