Hi There!
I'm Venus, and I am a R.P. Qualifying (Registered Psychotherapist- Qualifying) and a Drama Therapist. I have additional training in Play therapy, Child-Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT), and Narrative therapy.
I specialize in work with those who feel anxious, depressed and overwhelmed as well as those who identify as living with ADHD, ASD, Giftedness, anxiety and depression, and individuals who have been identified or diagnosed later in life. I use an integrative approach, including the use of art, drama, play, poetry, and "brain-taming" for individuals that I see in sessions.

In our sessions, we will explore the transformative power of drama therapy, which blends conversation with creative exercises that may include arts, metaphor, narrative, and even poetry. This approach allows for a deeper exploration of your thoughts and feelings, offering fresh perspectives on life transitions, self-esteem challenges, relationships, and coping strategies.

I use authenticity and a relational, strengths-based approach to individualize therapy to my clients needs. I work with individuals of all ages and understand the challenges that come with social systems, intergenerational, and intercultural realities. My work is focused around building on self-knowledge and the self-mastery of challenges. I integrate trauma-informed approaches into my work to build trust and safety as the foundation of the therapeutic relationship.

I believe that creativity can be used as a tool for expression for all ages.
