Services for Clients:

Therapy Services: 

• Individual, Dyad, and/or Family therapy with experienced clinicians, who are registered and accountable to their governing body (OCSWSSW) and covered by most private insurance benefits

• Therapists who value and attend ongoing training and who actively participate in individual clinical supervision as well as a peer/clinical consultation group, within the Centre, to provide best practice and up-to-date approaches to their clients

• Therapists with clinical expertise and lived experiences with/as GTIm (Gifted, Talented, Intense-minded) individuals

• Therapists/Practitioners who provide integrative, Relational, and client-centred approaches first and foremost, and who use various methods and techniques to provide individualized therapy to suit client needs

Additional Services: 

• Psychological/educational assessments with a licensed Psychologist

• Additional supports to young people and families from MSW/Social Work Interns, Child and Youth Care Practitioners (CYCP) and CYCP Interns  

• Groups and workshops developed and facilitated by experienced professionals (offered as available, online or in-person)

• Resources, educational support, tutoring, coaching, and support for learning needs from a variety of professionals as determined and offered 

• A secure online platform that is account based, safe, and meets current security standards in Ontario for electronic service, information storage, messaging, and online therapy sessions.

Referral Process:

• Personalized referral and matching process with our health administrator to provide information and support about our Centre (info@acornandanchor.com)

• An individual, email-based client assessment for therapist matching and to help determine and support the best fit to clients
