RP, DTATI is a professional Art Therapist and Registered Psychotherapist in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.  Annie is currently completing a second Master’s degree in Developmental Psychology and Education through the University of Toronto-OISE (Dec 2023).

My Background:

With over ten years of experience working with children, youth, and adults in a variety of mental health support settings, Annie offers support to individuals of all ages. Annie works from a client-centered, relational, and strengths-based approach. A session with Annie could include mindfulness, meditation, gentle movement, psychoeducation, art, music, or just talking. Whatever works best for you or your child.

Annie is primarily an art therapist and highly values the creative process as a tool for healing and growth. Outside of art therapy, Annie has professional training in several modes of therapy and can provide the following therapeutic approaches: Mindfulness, Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Traumaplay™️, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, CBT and Spirituality, DBT, Sensorimotor, and Parenting Support.

Annie is a practitioner of meditation, yoga, and mindful living and she offers these practices to clients of all ages. Annie strongly believes that all individuals have the power to heal and better themselves through the development of a deep understanding of self.

Annie works through a trauma-informed, social justice lens with an awareness of systemic oppression (e.g. racism, sexism, ableism, homophobia, transphobia) and how oppression can contribute to symptoms of anxiety, depression, stored trauma, and substance use issues. All people are welcome and supported based on their individual needs.
