Michelle L. Guy, MSW/RSW, CYCP, Psychotherapist has nearly 30 years of experience as a clinician and over 20 years in providing clinical supervision, education, and training to therapists in Ontario either in-person, or online. Michelle provides support in a variety of interventions and with a wide scope of practice experience with diverse populations.
Michelle has provided training, consultations, workshops, and support to agency and organization staff and leaders. She has over 20 years experience in public speaking and conference presentations for health, social service, child welfare, police services, and other helping professions. She has been a chair and executive member of community health advisory committees, panels, and working groups for young people and their families, and has a background in research and program development in peri-natal, infant, and early years mental health, child and adolescent mental health and early childhood trauma.
She is an educator, and believes firmly in the pedagogy of social work, social service work, and child and youth care. She has been a part-time professor at Humber College, CYC Program, Social Service Work at George Brown College, and the CYW program at Centennial College over the years. She has also served as an adjunct professor for University of Toronto's Faculty of Social Work (FIFSW), a Professional Colleague at Ryerson University Midwives program and is a current Practicum Supervisor for FIFSW as well.
