Hello!
I'm Brittany Forester. I am an experienced therapist and I work with kids and teens from age 10+ as well as with adults. I implement the Acorn & Anchor model into my practice along with my EMDR training for complex trauma issues and I am IFS-informed with supervision from an IFS Institute therapist. I work with each person to cater to their specific areas of strengths and meet their needs in our sessions.
I have nearly 10 years of professional experience working with adults, children and families in a variety of settings. My personal and professional experiences with individuals who identify as Gifted and Intense Minded (GTIm), including those with ADHD, 2e, Complex-Trauma, and people on the Autism Spectrum brings an authentic connection to my approach. I use an integrative model as a therapist, utilizing a variety of evidence-based approaches to personalize sessions so clients feel heard and understood. In addition to those noted above, I may integrate CBT, DBT Skills, Art, Play, neuropsychology, and other modalities in sessions.

My goal is to provide my clients with opportunities to recognize their own strengths and enhance their capability to nurture these strengths and experience real growth.
